For procedures that do not require hospitalization, we provide high quality care and facilities for day surgery and recovery.
The HealthPlex has four state-of-the-art surgical suites where patients undergo outpatient procedures. These include general surgery, GYN surgery, ophthalmology, pediatric dentistry, ENT surgery, podiatry, plastic surgery and gastroenterology.
In addition to being equipped with the most current equipment, the HealthPlex also provides experienced nursing care to our patients. The surgical services nurses at the HealthPlex have an average of 20 years of experience.
All of our nursing staff is both ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support for the patient safety and well being.
We also offer a private pediatric pre-operative room and recovery room to help calm pediatric patients and provide privacy and peace of mind for the family.
Our facility is built so that patients on their way to the operating room are wheeled past large windows showing trees and greenery. Studies have shown that patients who see nature instead of cold hospital walls before a procedure are more calm and require less anesthesia.
The HealthPlex has 3 Endoscopy Suites. Our goal is for patients to have a painless experience. When the procedure is complete, patients are fully recovered and not sent home until they are fully awake from anesthesia.
