The HealthPlex offers diagnostic radiology services, such as CT scan, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, bone density testing, and the latest generation of digital mammography. All of our radiology and mammogram technicians are nationally certified. There is a board certified radiologist available on-site during business hours.
Digital Mammography takes a higher quality image that allows for earlier detection and better treatment planning than previous analog technologies.
Ladies waiting for their mammograms at the HealthPlex have a private women-only waiting area. Along with the additional privacy, the HealthPlex provides women getting their mammogram with a spa-like wrap instead of the expected paper-thin hospital robe. This little added touch of comfort was suggested by the staff as a way to make the mammography experience a little friendlier. The HealthPlex also provides foam pads for the mammography machine so that during the procedure itself, the machine is not cold against bare skin.
